The Chilean side is in the Tarapacá Region. The Bolivian side is in the Potosí Department, Nor Lípez Province, Quemes Municipality, southeast of the Salar de Uyuni salt flat.〔(lib.utexas.edu ) Map of the area〕〔(Quemes Municipality ): population data and map showing Iru Phutunqu between the mountains Bofedal and Yaretal〕 It is a relatively small peak, within the collapse scarp of a debris avalanche from earlier in the Holocene, which was built up by eruptions to fill much of that feature. There are two craters at the summit, with the one to the south displaying fumaroles. In 1995 its first eruption in recorded history occurred in the form of a phreatic eruption.〔 ==See also== * List of volcanoes in Bolivia * List of volcanoes in Chile * Patilla 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Iru Phutunqu (Chile-Nor Lípez)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
